about

Hi, I'm Oscar Bridges—a professional musical theatre performer and now a certified Health, Wellness and sports Nutritionist, with a passion for helping performers and touring professionals fuel to perform their best.

Originally from Adelaide, I've been working professionally in the Australian musical theatre industry since graduating high school in 2023, and moving out at 17.

Currently, I’m touring Australia with The Book of Mormon, performing eight shows a week. And with that, I bring my first-hand experience of living on tour whether it’s at the Oaks for months on end, 9-show-weeks, travel days, cover calls, or busy 5-show-weekends, all whilst keeping my passion for food and healthy eating alive.

Alongside performing, I hold a Certificate IV in Health and Wellness + Sports Nutrition Coaching, recognised by the Nutrition council of Australia. I have combined my love of food, performance, and education to create Ate-shows-a-week.

I created Ate-shows-a-week because I realised the severe lack of understanding in how to fuel our bodies as performing athletes. Whether you're looking to improve your energy, support your gut health, optimise your recovery, simplify meal prep, make the most of your accom kitchen, or simply feel more in control of your nutrition while touring, I would LOVE to help!

So, think of me as your therapist, for food, and let’s see you fuel your best, Ate-Shows-A-Week!

I am also a graduate of the Vocal Health First Aid course from Vocal Health Education. This enables me to assess and support basic vocal health concerns, assess tension in the voice, and support clients to prioritise their vocal health. As a part of the health and wellness side of my coaching, I extend myself to support basic vocal health concerns too.
